“What would cause the cleaning solution to leak out of the tank when cleaner is not in use?”

• I would say it’s not designed to be stored with cleaner left in it. Make sure you use all of the solution you put in it. ALWAYS clean the brush head area after EVERY use! It stores water and can leak onto the floor if you don’t.

• You need to make sure that after every single use, you are emptying both the solution tank, in addition to the dirty water tank. If you leave solutions sit in the solution tank, it can cause damage to the machine because the hoses are sitting with the chemicals inside for periods of time.
