I was actually quite surprised with how much suction this carpet cleaner has when lifting the water that it puts out. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 leaving the carpet very wet and 10 leaving the carpet very dry, I give it a 10. Our carpet was pretty much dry after 30 minutes. We have standard pile carpet in our home so I can't comment on what kind of results this cleaner would yield on high pile or shag carpet. I also used the attachment house to clean the interior in my car and I received the same drying results there as well. I love this carpet cleaner and highly recommend it!

Please try again later.The carpet will still be wet, doesn’t seem like it drys it really just doesn’t leave excess water, it sucks it up well but still would need about a couple hours to dry... also depends on how many passes you make, you will probably need to do a couple extra times to make sure you get as much water out
