Yes it will pick up a ton of stuff and I haven't had any problems with damage to base boards at all
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's a great question, Whisper! The SmartClean should have no trouble picking up the bird food and should not scuff your wood base boards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I find that mine picks up that sort of thing pretty well. It is not harmful to the floors as the bristles are fairly soft. I think it would work well for your purposes and not harm your floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use your regular vacuum first. Use the robot every day or two to maintain. It won't hurt your floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It picks up food related crumbs from my children, so I don't see why it wouldn't pick up after your birds. It sounds like it is hitting the base boards hard, but it has a bumper that gives a lot, so I think you would be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.MIne picks up my dogs fur beautifully, as well as bits of food she leaves laying everywhere. It also does a great job at getting very small things that get dropped in the kitchen or by the doors as people walk in and our through the garage and back yard all day. It has a bumper that gives and once it knows what the room "looks" like...it does a great job of not continuing to bump into the walls at all. It is such a great house helper that I can't imagine not having one now. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It seems like it will do just fine. Also when it bumps against baseboards it seems more gentle than the Roomba - not that the Roomba was really that bad either...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should pick up after you birds. I have seen this vacuum clean up some decent clumps of mud brought in the house from the dogs. Just make sure the vacuum gets emptied regularly. Baseboards still look good and we painted then a few months prior to purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your better off buying a Roomba. The bissell is built very cheap. Mine broke in only two months.
