• There is a bin for vacuum only. You can swap the bin out for the mopping attachment with will both vacuum and mop. However, the dust bin is smaller. If you have very dirty floors with lots of animal hair, crumbs, or 'stuff', you may need to use the vacuum only mode first.

• In mop mode it can do a little vacuuming as the vacuum head still runs and there's a tiny (unfiltered) dustbin to hold any debris it sweeps up, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to do much to trap dust. And it can't do both carpet and hard flooring in one go, you need to swap out a module for the different floor types.

• The Spinwave Robot vacuums first. Then you must swap out the vacuum tank for the mop tank. The mop tank holds the mopping solution and scrubbing pads.
