It recommends using the Bissell Brand. I use the Bissell Brand simply because I feel it's the best cleaner. Bissell practically wrote the book on floor/carpet care and I have several of their appliances, and I'm completely happy with the Bissell Brand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It tells you to use Bissell brand cleaner. We don’t. I go to our local home depot and get a bottle of the carpet cleaner they sell. It’s in a red 1/2 gallon jug for like $20. It works just fine. I have been using it in this machine for a long time and it doesn’t hurt it. They just want you to buy their cleaner because it’s their machine. You will love it as it does an AWESOME job. We only use the hose to clean though and not the circular brush on the end of the machine.
