No. However, you do a wet pass (back and forth while holding spray trigger) and then a dry pass (back and forth NOT holding the spray trigger) so it extracts a lot of the liquid. I imagine there is something in the solution that that inhibits bacterial growth which water on its own would promote. Some of the solutions also put down a protective barrier for future filth prevention. A rinse might remove that before it gets a chance to set in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You still will want to rinse as it helps to wash out more dirt. Sometimes leaving the cleaning solution to dry on your carpet can cause discoloration and even make your carpet feel a bit rough as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could fill the top container with cleaner water and run it again. I haven’t seen a shampooer set up to do a rinse after shampooing. You shouldn’t be using so much soap, cleaning solution that the carpet has heavy residue. Maybe you want someone to professionally clean.
