• Yes, the area directly in front of the door will have an increased temperature when the unit is in use.

• Thank you for your question, John. The exterior of this toaster oven will be hot while in use, due to the housing of the toaster oven being metal. While in use, we advised the oven mitts or pot holders when touching any inner our outer surface of the toaster oven.
