“Does carafe brewing empty the reservoir? Unlike the K-cup/single side with its volume settings, will carafe brewing completely empty the reservoir as most carafe-brewers do? With the reservoir "clearly marked", again - as most are, I'm not concerned about accuracy or filling it. I only wanted to be aware if emptying its full 60oz reservoir into a "12cup" ~ 50oz carafe should be avoided. Or does this carafe hold 60oz?”

• Filling the Carafe side does empty the reservoir. However, the carafe does hold 60 ounces and will not overflow. So long as you do not fill the reservoir over the 'max' line, you won't have to worry about that.
