Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can be a partial pot because it uses the water in its attached reservoir. Put only the amount of water in that you want brewed for the pot. If you fill the reservoir it will use all the water that is in it. You can't pick a set amount of water to use (like you can on the K-cup side) but can limit it by putting in less water. It has measurements on the reservoir so it wouldn't be difficult to figure out.
