• All of our blenders can make Hot Soup and Ice Cream, but this model would take a little more work than our Designer 650(also sold at Best Buy). The Designer 650 acutally has preprogrammed settings specifically for Soups and Ice Cream whereas the Classic 575 would require you to use 2 cycles of the "90 second" button in order to make a soup.

• This blender makes soups and ice cream. I was surprised when we tried it.
