- Answer Mine is mounted under an eave. You need a flat wall space. It also comes with a special mounting bracket if you have siding.

QuestionWhat makes these incompatible with the blink xt2 camera. From what i am reading this is a motion activated light along with the camera. So if the light has its own power an the camera its own power what is the key fact to make it not able to be used.

- Answer I dont have the earlier version camera. However my understanding is the mounting is the issue with older cameras. The mouting hole on the back of the camera is different. Also may be a marketing ploy to get you to buy newer $$ (or more) cameras.
