Yes, these are wireless cameras and they attach to your Wi-Fi and you are able to access them remotely from anywhere. All you have to do is download the app and add the camera to your account. On the app. It gives you 30- day free trial without your debit card or credit card. It is $10 a month to purchase the plan which allows extra features when saving events on the cloud. You can still access the camera from anywhere without a membership, but if you want to keep any of the recordings you must have the $10 a month membership. It is also attached to your Amazon account. Now if you want something to record from inside of your car, I would suggest getting the outdoor 4 camera by blink. The outdoor four is wireless. It runs off of lithium ion batteries. It is very easily use and start up and again with the blink 4. You can save the recordings to the cloud using the core module which is usually with the purchase of an outdoor four blink. Or you can purchase the module XR and you can save the recordings on an SD card. The outdoor 4 camera does not necessarily need a membership or subscription to keep the recordings. If you have the module XR. You must have the module to have an outdoor 4 camera because the module is what hooks up to Wi-Fi. I hope you enjoy your purchases if you go with blink. Here's why: The Blink Mini 2 is a wired, plug-in camera that requires a continuous electrical power source. It does not have internal batteries, so it would lose power as soon as you unplug it from an outlet at your home. Even with a portable power solution, the camera needs to stay connected to your home's Wi-Fi network to send you notifications and clips.
