Don't quite understand. The camera works with your internet network, so you can see it from anywhere that you can pick up your internet.

The camera has to have good access to Wi-Fi you can be in another state and still be able to view your cell phone I go out of town and I am always checking up on my grandma

Hi on live you can zoom it in and I believe you can also zoom in on motion detection even without zooming in I can see mine well.

You are able to adjust your camera settings, access recorded motion clips, receive notifications, and access live view through the App on your compatible mobile device from anywhere as long as you have a WIFI or cellular connection. This is important to note for your cellular data plan, watching a five second motion clip without WIFI connection will use about 750KB of your data plan.
