The Blink indoor cameras, are not meant for outdoors however customers have successfully used a Blink indoor camera in protected outdoor areas (such as under an awning, on a covered porch, etc.) as long as it remains dry and within its operating temperature range of 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C). The camera is not waterproof and any exposure to moisture and/or temperatures outside the operating range will void our one-year limited warranty. Our Blink XT and XT2 cameras are water resistant and have an operating temperature of -4° to 113° F (-20° to 45° C) and can be used outside.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will need to choose the -XT or now the XT2 model camera for indoor/outdoor use. It's easy to tell the difference between the indoor and outdoor camera models as the indoor are white and the indoor/outdoor models are black. Both cameras work with the same sync module so that you can have some indoor and outdoor cameras.
