The Blink cameras when armed record clips based on motion detection. These clips are stored in our secure servers in the cloud not in the cameras accessible only via the Blink Home Monitor APP on your compatible mobile device. Blink’s server provides each Sync Module storage for up to 7,200 total seconds of video (or 1,440 five-second events) for as long as you like (no expiration). If you reach your storage limit, it will automatically delete the oldest clip in order to make room for the next one.

They are automatically recorded. You can manually delete them or allow the storage to fill. You can even download specific ones. You can also set the recordings to delete after a certain amount of time
