• You can record clips up to 60 seconds long. Clip length is one of the options on a slider in Camera Settings (see screenshot). You can also turn on the camera (“live view”) at any time when you’re away, and watch what’s going on, without recording and saving. I do that all the time to check on my pets when I’m not home.

• When armed, the Blink cameras record clips based on motion detection only, you can set these motion clip recordings to be anywhere from 5 to 60 seconds long within the camera settings in the APP. You are also able to access the live view on the cameras at anytime from anywhere through the APP as well and with the Blink XT2 cameras you are able to save your live view session.

• It's a motion sensor. It records when it senses motion. You can set the recording to 5-30 seconds.
