No. They are separate phone operating systems. Kind of like Microsoft having a Microsoft(PC) or Apple(Mac) Computer. However, MANY Microsoft Apps(programs) will work on this Android phone (I use Excel on mine). That being said, when you set it up, it will have an Android/Google system. However, from there, what matters is your carrier. For instance, if your present, phone allowed you to connect to your network (ATT, T-Mobile, etc), then you should not have a problem (except for getting used to a.. not much different/learning code with setting up your settings).
