“If i choose to activate the phone today with AT&T can I switch the sim to another carrier that I already plan to get with the phone without having to unlock the phone or is the phone still unlocked even though its activated?”

• The phone is already unlocked. It will work on AT&T, T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier.
