No, this phone does not display ads. The only thing I can think of where you would see ads are on a web page or in an app. There are no ads built into the phone. There ARE some apps built in that you may want to delete (junk ware) but nothing that will cause any harm or be annoying. I have been able to remove all but 1 app easily. The 1 that didn't want to uninstall I just disabled.
