It should work with Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, however the microphone will drain your iPhone battery, so generally speaking it would work fine for short periods of time. The alternative would be the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter that allows you to use both your charger and microphone at the same time.

With a female-USB to Lightning adapter, yes you can use the Yeti on your iPhone 7.
