QuestionWhat is wrong with my blue yeti if it’s plugged into my ps4 and the lights not turning on? Is it the cord or the yeti in general?

- Answer Not entirely sure what your issue is. But to verify if it’s the mic try connecting it to another ps4 or a computer to see if the light comes on. This will let you isolate the issue to the mic/cable. If it doesn’t light up still try another cable and if it still doesn’t your mic may need replaced.

- Answer Its controlled via USB into a computer. I wouldn't recommend for use with XLR converters (if they are even available for this type of connection)

- Answer Yes, it may work with your device, however, you would need to use a powered USB adapter to deliver a sufficient amount of power to run the Yeti.

QuestionI noticed the '5/8' thread is too big for any 5/8 attachment.. even with it's own Yeti shock mount. I heard rumors that the old silver Yeti was discontinued due to over sizing the thread by error... is this newer mic true to the standard 5/8 thread?

- Answer Comes with a standard USB-A cable to connect to your computer, and I believe it is a Mini USB-A into the base of the Mic. If you need something other than a USB-A to plug into your computer with, there are plenty of adapter cables available.

- Answer Hello, as a power source only, you can use this method with the Yeti. The Yeti will require drivers and software to properly function for recording.

- Answer You mean wind proof? No you’ll need a microphone cover or a pop filter in addition to the mic. Both very inexpensive.
