This mic should be fine. I did my research on it before i purchased it, it has different settings to accommodate the use. you dont need headphones for it but it would certainly help especially if your podcasting. your headphones should work, the worked with my ps4 controller so it should work with your logi pair.

You can use a Snowball or a Yeti Nano, but the Yeti is the standard for a reason! This has a 3.5mm headphone out on the bottom for monitoring. I don't know which headset you have, so I couldn't tell you if yours will work. I definitely recommend using the headphone out on the mic (and not headphones connected to the computer). The Yeti really is simple to use!
