Hi Captivate2028, the price of the Yeti microphones change all the time inside Best Buy. This is due to supply and demand, seasonal promotions, or whenever another version has released. In this case, there are two versions of the Yeti X microphone. When you purchased it, that was a great deal! Hopefully it's still serving you well. Hope that helps. -N from Logitech
