It attaches to your phone or other device with bluetooth / wifi so can access any ap that you have on your device. I use pandora radio, iheart radio, and can even open my youtube TV or Direct TV aps and play over the speaker.

If you were to have an app on phone for Am/Fm then it would definitely play that over Bluetooth.
