I have not owned my filter long enough to know if I also have this problem. I do feel confident saying that if the unit does not perform as the manual predicts then you have an actionable problem. If this eventually happens to me I will be camped on someone's doorstep until the issue is resolved. I just did a Google search and found a video that shows how the Reset is supposed to work. The lady in the video says hold the button down 7 to 10 seconds! Gee, I can hardly wait to see how mine will work. Good luck.
