this unit will remove just about everything...efficiently and quietly. including pet smells, smoke..dander.. try it...you will ( and family) be very happy.

What I really like about this air purifier is that when turning on the purifier in auto mode it checks the air quality within 30 seconds and selects the right fan speed (low, medium, or boost), and you also get visual information through an LED, where blue=good air quality, resulting in a low fan speed (the same speed as in "Night mode", orange=modeare air quality resulting in a medium speed, and red=polluted resulting in a high fan speed ("boost").

Especially in the morning, we would wake up with less congestion. If you are looking to filter your whole house you will need more than one air filter. Good luck! We love ours.

Small particles (<.01 microns) move around like gases very quickly, getting caught in between the folds of the filter fibers.
