• Yes, it doesn't need an internet connect for you to use it but the app has a lot of features, like much better detail related to air quality, scheduling when it runs, and more that will not be available if you can't connect the 480i to your home network and the internet.

• You can operate all of the important features, just not the scheduling and historical data.

• Yes the unit will work without Wi-Fi. You will loose all the features that are app controled.

• Yes. To turn off the Wi-Fi function, press the Wi-Fi and filter buttons simultaneously for more than three seconds. To turn on the Wi-Fi function again, press only the Wi-Fi button for more than three seconds.
