Hello, it may in fact be true that your environment is more clean than you think. We suggest doing a test to check if the auto function is faulty. Simply light a candle and match close to the purifier and extinguish it, allowing for smoke to be detected by the Health Protect. Under normal circumstances the Health Protect should be able to pick up the lingering smoke and kick into a higher fan speed. If the problem persists, we suggest arranging for an exchange from the original Best Buy you've purchased from or contact [email protected] and request for a warranty exchange by providing a proof of purchase. We'd be very happy to send you a new one under warranty.
