“Blue air claims the 7400 protect series has been tested by covid on their website. Plus above it states "Traps & kills germ Activated when on standby" Is this true? Can this work on a room 150 sqft?”

Thank you for your question! Yes we have had the Protect 7400 series tested in laboratory conditions to remove the SARS-CoV-2 covid virus from the air. It has not been proven to kill or prevent the spread of covid though. The GermShield™ technology used in the Protect™ models is specifically developed to stop germ growth and kill germs 24/7 as the technology can be used also when the air purifier is in standby mode (Tested on Staphylococcus albus and MS2 bacteriophage (deactivation) and E.coli (growth prevention).
