If it doesn't completely, it will make it almost unnoticeable. I drive my semi down the road, with the window open, and it cuts out all the noise.

The noise isolation mic is just phenomenal. Background noise is low and does not interfere with the other person hearing you clearly. All day. Everyday. Battery lasts the entire day of usage. Don't feel too durable but Never broken one either and I am not gentle.
