Like most USB 3.0 ports this will charge with a standard MICRO usb cable so you most-likely have a charging cord somewhere in your house already.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The keyboard charges from the same USB adapter and USB-A to Micro-B Superspeed that works with the newer tablets and Galaxy S5. It will also charge from a standard Micro-USB The charger and cable are *not* included with the keyboard, but battery life is far, far better than the tablet. You can charge the keyboard for a couple of hours and use it for several days without a problem. It does not need to be plugged in as the tablet would be for continued use. Other than for charging, there is no other use for the USB port on the keyboard.
