A:AnswerNone of these Bobsweep vacuums will scratch up your wood floors. It has a soft but sturdy brush under it so your floors will be fine and much cleaner by the time Bob is done. :)
A:AnswerThis bObsweep comes with a block device that has a red light gray, so you set it up to block off whatever areas you you don’t want your bObsweep to go.
You can also purchase additional blocks if you need more than one.
A:AnswerThe way this round Bobsweep gets corners is by the side brush that spins around. This extends about 2 inches outside the body of the vacuum and the vacuum knows somehow to keep slowly turning moving forward, turning a little moving forward and so on until it gets corners and edges clean.
As far as transitioning from laminate carpet floor, mine typically does fine, but the carpets that I have are very low pile and they’re just throw carpets. Occasionally Bob can’t get onto the carpet but I would say 95% of the time he gets on and off seamlessly.
This Bobsweep has the best suction power of all of their vacuums, but it locks a lot of the frills, features and smart features of some of their other models.
My advice from being a bObsweep owner for several years now is to match up your needs with the vacuum that works best for you.
If strong suction is not something you need, the Slam has an improved mechanism, where it raises it up onto carpet and down off of it. The section on this one is fine for a normal household and for a normal level of dirty carpet, but in the case of my household, I have 11 cats and a 95 pound dog so I cannot use any other vacuum than the pet hair plus.
I did get the slim and used it to try it out and it did OK for me even with the tons of pet hair so I would say that it still is pretty good for normal dirt levels, but for extreme cases of pet hair litter, trackings, and all the other wonderful things animals do to your house pet hair plus is really the only one that will do the job well.
A:AnswerI think the answer to this question depends on the need of the customer. For example, in my case, I have a lot of pets that all shed so I have a pet hair plus because it’s suction is probably the strongest of the models.
There are other models that work with an app and have napping and schedules as well as additional models that I am not completely familiar with, but I do know that the pet hair plus has the greatest suction power of all their vacuums.
I would always suggest to anyone to call the Bobsweep company. They are amazing and will answer all your questions and tell you all the details that you wanna know..
They are amazing and super helpful.
A:AnswerThe mapping only works with the bObsweep vacuums that have the smart features built into them. The pet hair plus does not have any smart features, but the Slam does have the mapping capability. Just keep in mind that you lose the suction power of the pet hair plus if you buy the Slam, but it is still decent for a normal household just not for one like mine with 1 million cats and a giant dog that all shed.
