“Is this good with picking up dog/pet hair? I have hard floors, so the hair my dog sheds is just on the bare floor. Would one of these be good at sucking up the hair, or would that be too much for it to handle?”

I have hardwood floors and two dogs. We were amazed at how well this picks up the pet hair. We do empty the filter probably more than those without pets. However, we love our Bob. Bob is a member of the family now, and cleans our floors every day. Would definitely recommend for pet homes!

I bought the the BobSweep PetHair model, and it is wonderful at picking up my cat's fur off hardwood floors. It seems to have an extra side brush that sweeps to the center of the vacuum for picking up fur, etc. You might want to wait for a sale on one of the models specifically for Pet Hair.
