Does it pick up dog hair? null

Yes but if you have a lot of dog hair, you'll be emptying manually. It tends to clog and prevents automatic empty. I think cat hair would be fine. Also note- it will suck up things into the inside of the machine where the circuit boards are. There's no way to get it out unless you take it apart which voids the warranty.

It does a great job with dog hair. That’s the main reason we purchased and we have been very impressed with it. Some times it picks up so much that the docking station can’t suck it out. We got around that by running more often. We have a golden that seems to shed a lot.

Yes I have 2 pups. It works well on dog hair!
