• I have three cats and two dogs. It doesn’t tangle but the first couple of time I had to manually empty it. Now after using it several times it empties on its own.

• Works pretty well for my GSD's hair. I have a pair of GSD's so it has to clean double the hair. So far no complaints in that department

• Hair will build up and require cleaning....BUT, this thing is so easy to take apart and clean; no more than 5 minutes; I wouldn't let the hair build-up and then you will spend time cleaning it.
