You can record up to 4 shows at the same time, and as many total shows as you have space. Once recorded, you could unplug this box and connect it to the TV in your truck, but it would need internet access to do much more than play those shows back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not quite sure what you're asking...you'd need a TV source to record of course, either ATSC broadcasts (over the air) or cable. You could technically unplug it then and take it somewhere else to watch, but personally I'd transfer stuff off of it instead, either copy stuff to an iOS/Android device, or to a PC, like a notebook or something, so the TIvo can remain running. Probably better on the Tivo, and also then it can keep recording new shows.
