• Yes, that's how it operates. Connect the antenna to Tivo (not to tv). Connect Tivo to your tv. Place your antenna for best reception. Scan your tv for channels.

• Yes. The antenna will plug into the back of the Tivo. I pick up every local station coming out of St. Louis and I live about 45 miles away.
