I sure love my TiVO but I have HDMI. I don't see any way on it to hook up the A/V breakout cables. But I really don't know. Sorry. There are people in our neighborhood actually giving away tv's with HDMI, and I've even seen them really cheap at Good Will, etc. Might be worth it for you to think about upgrading your tv. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, it can NOT connect via Red White and Yellow RCA cables. However I've seen several companies that sell an HDMI to Red, White and Yellow converter cable. This TiVo only has an HDMI out. I hope this helps.
