• If you do not want the guide, you do not need to pay a monthly fee. You can pay a lifetime fee once, if you need it, or do monthly.

• Yes, it has a monthly fee. No you can not use an OTA (Over-the-Air). with a cable system. Ask your Best Buy sales rep, or call TIVO sales, as to which TIVO Bolt can be used with a cable system.
