Yes, the TiVo Bolt Vox records any Spectrum Cable program your package provides. Scheduled recordings are flawless, including season passes. All you need from Spectrum is a cable card and potentially a Tuning Adapter. The Spectrum tech can set all of it up or if you are a bit handy, you can do it yourself. Having said that, I advise letting a Spectrum Tech do it as "provisioning" the cable card can be a bit complicated. I have a Bolt Vox and 5 mini's and they work great. I can recording six programs at one time and they are distributed anywhere in my house. My system uses the MoCa standard over coax.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The helpdesk seems to be a good salesperson for Spectrum. I just had my new Tivo Bolt Vox installed using SPECTRUM tuner. I picked up the tuner from Spectrum office and there is no chsrge for the tuner. I had to return old cable box to Spectrum. The tuner box is free but the tivo cable card is less than $5 monhly service fee, cheaper than the cable box. Yes, you can pause, fwd or rewind. The remote is very user friendly. Can even skip commercials on recorded programs, if the particular program has this option. Picture is very clear unlike my old Series 2. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes Tivo will work with Charter / Spectrum. They will still need to give you a tuning adapter and cable card (M-card). There is a small rental fee for this of 2 or 3 dollars. Once it's set up it will do do what you want. The only downside is that Tivo cannot use their on demand programming.
