“will this box ( TiVo - BOLT VOX 1TB DVR & Streaming Player) take in the output from a Roku device. Would I just move the Roku output HDMI cable from the TV and plug it into this Tivo box and then connect the Tivo output cable into the TV?”

Leave the Roku connected where it is. The TiVo will have it’s own input of your choice. Cable in from wall will go straight to TiVo and HDMI will go from the TiVo to the input of your choice to the TV.. Hope this helped.
