“Can these be used in a gas fire column on top or mixed in with fireplace glass instead of the larva rock? It came with larva rock but we liked the colored glass better.”

I am using the spheres with firepit quality glass. Seems to work fine for many months now. I put lava rock underneath the glass pieces; and the ceramic spheres are set into the mix. Looks nice during the day even when no fire burning. At night it looks really great as the glass pieces reflect the flames and sparkle while the gray spheres retain the heat for added warmth. Be sure to use glass that is rated for fire pits or you may be unhappy with exploding broken glass shards. The spheres work fine. Helps to keep me warm on cold nights
