A:AnswerYoull need an internet connection to put in the sim id, phone IMEI (from *#06#), and email info in irder to activate the chip. The pkg has the website qr code. You can port your number in the process as well. It took me less than 10 minutes to activate and port my old number. If you are porting your existimg number, you will also need a port out code from your previous carrier and your carrier account number. Boost also requires an email for each phone account. I ported 6 lines this way and kept existing GSM phones.
A:AnswerOnce your Pre-loaded SIM service is finished you will need to go to Boostmobile.com or call Boost in order to continue service using your existing phone number with a new plan of your choice.
