- Answer No it cannot. It must be used on the Sprint/Boost network for 12 months before they will software unlock the device.

- Answer Yes there is a problem. There isn't much space left over after pre installed apps. If you download couple of big games, it won't have any space left over for other apps. Even if you have extra micro SD card installed, apps can't download directly to SD disk.
