Even when you're traveling abroad, the device remains locked to the Boost Mobile network until it meets our 12-month requirement, meaning you wouldn't be able to use a local international SIM card right away. While the Galaxy A16 5G features a hybrid slot that can hold two SIMs (or one SIM and a microSD card), both slots are restricted to Boost Mobile service while the phone is locked.
