Just to clarify: on this deal, you own the phone outright, BUT it is locked to Boost, and you have to pay monthly for the SERVICE, for one year, before you can unlock it and move to another carrier (should you choose).

When you buy a prepaid smartphone like the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, you typically own the device outright after paying the upfront purchase price, so you won’t have those pesky monthly phone payments. From there, you just pay for your chosen monthly service plan, giving you total control over your budget with no long-term contracts.
