“Ok question, when i went in to ask for this phone for boostmobile they just gave an unlocked factory phone saying to take it to boostmobile and they will activate it which i think it has to be this one not the other factory one..not sure why they did that”

The same thing happened to me. The people in the store are not very knowledgeable about this. Definitely a Samsung S8 unlock does not work with Boost Mobile. The only way to buy the S8 for Boost is on the BestBuy website.
