Will this work with a locked (Sprint) iPhone 6s? null

Outlook not good. Boost does use the Sprint Network, and the iPhone 6s is on the list of compatible phones here: https://activate.boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone. However; since as you state, it is locked, it cannot be switched until Sprint performs a domestic unlock, which you can read about here: https://www.sprint.com/en/support/solutions/device/faqs-about-unlocking-your-sprint-device.html.

Boost is owned by Sprint, so it is likely you should be able to activate one of these sim cards on your iPhone. Also, the sim cards are for Sprint, Virgin Mobile, and Boost.
