• The physical copy only includes the cartridge for BL1 so you save around 14GB. I found the game download sizes on the support page; https://support.2k.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048520374-Borderlands-Legendary-Collection-Size-Requirement#:~:text=Hey%20Vault%20Hunters!,this%20title%20is%2014%20GB.

• you still need 42gb as you only get the first game and digital code for the other two.
