Easy to set up but so much space needed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I love the gameplay smooth and easy to use. Reminds a lot of call of duty just in a cartoonish way. The game cartridge comes with the original borderlands and the 2 other games are downloaded to the switch digital. The only downside is how many GB it takes up for both games. Its about 38GB I’m going based on making room for the downloads.

It’s a good port
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I bought rhis game like four times now. I do love my borderlands games. And this being portable is just that much better. I do hate, hate, hate, the fact that is used 42 gigs of your space.

3 Games - 1 Physical 2 Digital & Great Controls
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I really like the Borderlands series and was happy when it came to the Switch. One important thing is that only the first Borderlands game is on the cartridge. The second and Pre-Sequel are on a download card for the Nintendo E-Shop. They are big, so make sure you have enough space. Also, I was happy that the controls are updated. After playing Borderlands 3 on XBox One, I was concerned with the learning curve of moving to the Switch and thankfully the controls are miraculously similar. Despite the A & B and X & Y buttons switched places from XBox to Switch, the controls are almost identical. Switching weapons is Y on the XBox and is X on the Switch. That makes it super easy to swtich between consoles, pun intended.

Full Fledged Portable FPS
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I missed out on these games when they were originally released, primarily because I just didn’t have the time to sit down and play all the time. As an adult with limited time, the portability of these fantastic games allows me to squeeze them in when I find a moment throughout the day. It’s unbelievable to me that FPSs of such high quality are available on a portable device. The games themselves are fantastic, frantic, fun and engaging. They control well and look great, though not as good as the Xbox and PS versions. The Pre-sequel is the weakest of the 3, but still a good game. There are a lot worse out there. Borderlands 2 is the peak of this collection for sure. If you have these on other home consoles or PC, those are better versions overall, but the portability and accessibility of these games on the go is a huge win for me and my lifestyle. The only real negative I can point to is that there is a MASSIVE download required in order to play. You’ll need an SD card if you buy this collection physically like I did. My card had plenty of space, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but it’s worth noting if you don’t have enough internal memory.

My Favorite Game Of All Time!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I'm a huge fan of the Borderlands Games and always have been since they first came out. There is no other game like it in my opinion. Awesome characters, looting and shooting! I also love all the bad guys and different creatures. I normally play on Xbox but I love the idea of getting this for the Switch so I could play on the go. I will say its not the easiest to play on the switch handheld. I think the main issue for me is the buttons are obviously different than what I'm used too. But if you want to bring Borderlands on the go is pretty amazing. I will say I still prefer to play on my Xbox One tho. All and all its pretty awesome to play Borderlands wherever but it definitely takes some getting used too.

It made a Borderlands believer out of me.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I have tried (and failed) to get into the Borderlands franchise for years, but I took the plunge on the Legendary Collection mostly because I couldn't pass up all this content for the price. Suffice it to say that something about how the frantic, cel-shaded combat translates to the diminutive Nintendo Switch finally made the series click. The portable nature and quick load times meant I could play and replay missions without frustration, and I can at long last see that magic of Pandora. Whether you're an old fan or a holdout like me, I highly recommend this collection... just be prepared to delete some content from your microSD card to make room for the mandatory downloads.

Surprised how well this runs on switch
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed.Great bundle of great games. Surprised by how well this runs on switch. Bought multiple copies to give one as a gift. I've played these games multiple times since their release, glad to be able to play them on the go again (with decent controls compared to the vita). Picked this up on sale and it was well worth the price (wish there was cross-save available).

Asked by Sambov.
- A:Answer The physical copy only includes the cartridge for BL1 so you save around 14GB.
